PBS will be broadcasting Appalachia: A History of Mountains and People Thursday, April 29 and continue each Thursday through May 20. So if you missed it the first time around now's your chance to see it. It is well worth the time. National PBS will be broadcasting an encore showing of the series, Appalachia: A History of Mountains and People in conjunction with Earth Day, 2010. The series will begin with Part One: Time and Terrain, on Thursday, April 29 and continue each Thursday through May 20. Please check local listings for exact broadcast times. The series is narrated by Sissy Spacek and features such outstanding figures as Barbara Kingsolver, Ron Eller, and E.O. Wilson.
